Declan Black Carmical turns 1 today (August 26th) and in honor of his birthday, W.A. and tons of other people all over the country sent balloons to Heaven at 6PM EST. This small act was set in place by his family to honor his special day and spread awareness about Pediatric Cancer. Happy Birthday Declan (and Cole)!
As mothers to boys, we will all find this story heartbreaking, however, Declan left us mothers with an important message. It was Declan's legacy that will move all of us mothers to appreciate every moment we have to share with our precious boys (and girls)! This little angel touched so many lives. Although, I did not personally know Declan or meet his family, I feel moved by their story and must share it.
